How to find a hotel in Constanta

The old town centre near the casino and seafront promenade suits those wanting history and easy transport links, while the Mamaia resort strip just north of the city is where most beach hotels are concentrated. Mamaia gets extremely busy and expensive during July and August, with prices dropping sharply either side of the summer season.

Best time to visit: June or September, when the Black Sea is warm but Mamaia is markedly quieter than in high summer.
